The most badass all-female crew of ALL TIME was the International Sweethearts of Rhythm. They could rip the universe a new black hole - very hot.

One of my favorite tunes of theirs was/is "Don't Get It Twisted". The funniest song title they had in their book was "Diggin' Dykes" - 1st trumpet Ernestine "Tiny" Davis was one of their spark plugs, and a lesbian.
