Howdy.

As a newbie, I thought I'd take a few moments and ask for some input on any recommendations for do's and don'ts when it comes to looking for hats on ebay.

I've never shopped for anything on the bay, but I figured a look couldn't hurt.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi,

I presume you mean buying, not selling. ;)

I usually sit here and look something over for several minutes, then if I decide I might have an interest, I pop it into my 'watch' list.

I'll look at it again for a couple days, and only then decide if I want to try for it. Then, I place a single bid for whatever amount I figure is the max. After that, I let the auction run its course.

I have found over many years that this is the best way to deal with eBay, and not only for hats. I use this scheme for eveything from electronic test equipment to cars. :)

One thing is for sure, don't get caught up in a bidding war. There's precious few things that show up on eBay that won't show up again.

Later!

Stan
