Looks like 50s or early 60s.

Actually it does look pretty good now. When I copied it from eBay to Photobucket it lightened up the picture a little. I'll have to remember that.

The second picture makes it look like a backbow. Hard to tell, though. Condition looks solid.

I tried to get his Cavanagh this evening, but the reserve is North of $200 and he didn't get that (I wasn't the top bidder).
If it is re-listed I may have to reconsider. He is listing some nice 3/8 hats from his outstanding collection.

Oh man, that is a beautiful hat. I'd settle just for the case to carry my Amon Carter in!! If I made a purchase like that I'd have to retire or lay low for quite a while-LOL! Congratulations on a Great purchase.
