Anyone seen this? I saw it as a child on our local PBS station and finally found it on DVD last year. One of my all-time favorites. I love the romance between Joan Fontaine and Arturo de C??rdova. And the book by Daphne Du Maurier (on which it's based) is just as good if not better.

I have. I rented some years back when on a 17th Century kick. Its also a good example of a Golden Age Pirate Movie which has a woman as the principal character. Besides, who could resist seeing both Basil Rathbone AND Nigel Bruce as rotters?

Haversack.
