City of Roses residents will recognize this landmark. A great old school men's haberdasher in downtown Portland, OR. Visiting my brother and the Gorge and stayed in a hotel right next to this place.
They carried more hats in a dignified manner than any other men's store I've run into. Mostly Stetson, Baily, Beaver Brand and Stefanos. Some straws. But heavily focused on dressy hats; fedoras and homburgs. Worked their hats into all the window displays. Very nicely run store.
If I wasn't already into hats, I would have bought one there for sure.
It was like stepping into the past a bit. Brought a lot of dignity to men's hats.
