Bumping an almost seven year dormant thread so I can give props to my local hat shop. I have purchased one hat from her - in the beginning of my hat quest - and my wife has purchased several from Brim.
No reflection on Ms. Amelia, but I "graduated" from the stock she carries very early in my excursion into has, and concentrated on vintage and customs. I give Brim credit for keeping the hat alive in our little corner of the world, as many folks talk about her shop if they ask me about my hats. The shop is located in a trendy district with eclectic stores, restaurants, and taverns, so she gets a lot of foot traffic. I'm glad to see she's "over the hump" so to speak and wish her and Brim many years of continued success.
