Just didn't buy a "Dobbs Panel Edge"

I just handled a vintage(don't know how vintage...) "Dobbs Panel Edge"(I didn't notice anything special about the edge...which was plain/raw), a nice straight, not too tall crowned Fedora. What inpressed me about it was the weight of the felt- it was SO light and thin- way thinner than vintage Borsalinos- WAY thinner. But I didn't buy it- it had about 75 microns worth of felt left at the pinch...
Nice hat though.
