have a neighbor across the street who was a Marine during Vienam, '66 to '67 i believe. boy does he have some fascinating stories about being in country. what suprises me is that he is willing to talk about his service. most vets who spent a lot of time in the bush would rather not talk about it, like my grandfather and WWII. my mind is like a sponge when it comes to war stories and he even laughs when tell them. i guess that is how you have to be...anyway i guess i posted this because its not everyday you find a vet who will talk about his experiences...he and his wife are really great people and every time we get together he always throws in a Vietnam story...enough of my rattling. cheers! -JR
