Re-Blocking a Panama

I was thinking about having my Panama flanged, because the brim gets wavy when I get caught in some rain - but given the discussion here, I think I'll pass. The block is OK and I'm not going to pay for work on the brim that will be undone by the first rain I get caught in.

We've been having afternoon rains here in Colorado with incredible frequency...it just isn't practical to keep any hat from getting rained on, and frankly, that's what they're for. Hats are meant for shading and protecting your noggin, and I don't own any hats that can't go in the rain.

I Might try hitting the brim lightly with stiffener just to make it less floppy.
