Look through the old Esquires of the 30's, and it's chock full of socks in patterns, stripes, argyles, clocks, etc.

Incredible Socks!

Those socks are amazing! Do you have any suggestions for Argyles? I've been trying to find argyle socks that are authentic. My grandmother hand knitted some wool socks for me which were amazing, but I lost them in the move. If anyone has any good places to get argyle socks, I would be deeply indebted.
