Hey can people give me some real Golden Era examples of piano based, down and dirty sort of swing like this song, or like the people in it are dancing to:

If you're looking for 20s-40s jazz piano, I strongly suggest Fats Waller, Art Tatum and James P. Johnson. They were the three biggest names of piano jazz back in the day.

I'd also tentatively include Clarence 'Pinetop' Smith. He's really only known for 'Pinetop's Boogie-Woogie' and was shot to death before he could really make it as a star, but he's worth looking at.
