Stefan, Great find!
Thanks, Steve. It was a while since I could add another English hat to the collection.Stefan, Great find!
Thanks, Garrett. My thoughts as well. It is still in good enough condition to wear, so it's going to stay the way it is.I would leave everything as it is
It is very beautiful, even if the opportunity to actually wear it as a tuxedo hat may not come around very often.Pre 1952 Scott & Co Tuxedo Hat
Beautifully done and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, a size 7 1/8 so it will need a new home.

I will wear it on the golf course. I promise. [emoji2]It is very beautiful, even if the opportunity to actually wear it as a tuxedo hat may not come around very often.
President Trump is not a hat guy.

During his overseas trip, he was gifted a Lock & Co bowler. He puts a pinch in it and tries to snap the brim.
What can be said? Definitely not a hat guy...or did he just invent the snap brim bowler?
Hey!! Stefan, some nice hats come out of Liverpool you no!!Another oldie; I'm thinking thirties (note the mention of H.M the King on the label).
Woodrow&Sons fedora in brown. First one I found in my size. Bound brim at 6,5cm and crown 10cm at the center dent. The hat shows its age and the ribbon has the most wear for some reason (but I'm reluctant to have it replaced). The crown patch was covered with cellophane, but it was a mess. I managed to restore it to a reasonable standard without the covering.
The nice thing about it is that has vents on the side, which is the first time I've seen that on an English hat. Felt is in excellent shape, with a lovely hand.

The British makers certainly knew their stuff back in the day!Hey!! Stefan, some nice hats come out of Liverpool you no!!
Here is another Tuxedo Hat. I am not sure if it is English or French. It is very beautiful, even if the opportunity to actually wear it as a tuxedo hat may not come around very often.
Stefan, Super!T&W Lees Plymouth in black. Size 57 with the bound brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. This could work as a fedora too, but I don't think it was meant that way. Do I really need another black fedora? Of course not, but I'm a fan of T&W Lees hats, so if I find one, I bring it home with me. Very well made hats and superior to anything I've seen from Lock&Co or Christys so far.
