I've been meaning to put photos of this one up. Resistol San Antonio that I got a few months ago off ebay. I've been wearing this one a lot. It's in great condition. I thought it was going to be a soft open crown, but the felt is pretty stiff, which leads me to believe it's a factory crease. Although I pushed out the creases just to see what it looked like and the crown opened up nice and round, so I think I could put a different crease in it if I wanted to, but I like it the way it is.

Here is a Double X that I cleaned up and I’m impressed with the quality of the felt. It is lighter weight and has a nicer hand than the 3X Beaver Resistol’s that I own (174g vs 220g). Brim is 4” and crown is 5 1/2” open (the 3X’s I have are 6” to 7” crowns). For now it is shaped as a shorty Gus but with a bit of water/steam it is easy to shape into other styles. It also has a reorder tag that I haven’t seen on my other vintage Resistols.
