"Miss Kiefer and her Kiddies," a local children's amateur talent program aired in 1936 over a tiny 100-watt station in Brooklyn. A chorus of fifth-graders with thick Greenpernt accents are singing a surprisingly-heartfelt rendition of "For All We Know" to the plunking accompaniment of Miss Kiefer's mandolin. Not all radio of the Era was big time.
