I havent used the Fedora Lounge site here for quite awhile, I've been using the Facebook edition instead. Seems there are alot more spam ads than usual. That's very sad to see. Anyway, thought I'd say hi to everyone. For today's 106 degree Texas heat day I'm wearing my American Hat Co, Bangora straw. It has a beautiful weave pattern. Western Hat style hat with a fedora flair. 3" brim with 5" crown. Bangora straw hats are very durable. Sometimes a Bangora hat can be called a Bangkok weave or Bandera straw. Bangora hats are made with paper yarn on a machine that weaves the hat together like straw. They are tough hats and will stand up well in all types of weather.

Great to see you around Ken. I'd been wondering where you've been hiding. Now, I know: Facebook :)

Nice hat, Ken. It’s good to see you in these parts.

As for the “spam ads,” do you had an ad blocker? I followed the recommendation from Jim @Frunobulax and I haven’t seen a single ad since then.

I beat the heat and was able to wear my new-to-me Wormser this morning for a few chores.

I’ll post more in the Wormser thread once I get better photos, but thanks to fellow lounger @vincent stuart for a very classy addition to my collection.

This elderly fedora traveled all the way from British Columbia to get back to home turf. We’re only 100 miles from Chattanooga here.

Could it be that, like a salmon, it has returned to spawn more Wormsers?
