Custom hatters in Australia?

Would anyone know if there are any custom hatters in Australia who would have access to Akubra bodies?

Why would Akubra sell its hat bodies to be customized? Just curious.

A little time on Google shows only TWO hat manufactureres and a population of 21,874,900 as of 2009. Do the math. You could do a custom Akubra, just order the color you want, crown hght. you want w/largest brim width. Get it and send to a custom hatter here in the US, specify what you want done and VOILA! a "custom" Akubra !!

I don't know why, just wondering if. Akubra has an unfortunate tendency to punch ventilation holes in the color I'm looking for, which makes the purchase and customize strategy unworkable.

In Sydney Rosie Boylan does custom work and while she has worked with Akubras in the past I believe she imports most of her felt from Europe. She's the go-to-gal for movie makers seeking period hats and does awesome work.
