Got potential. Better than the normal D4 given the decline in quality in the general line. All the good leaves are saved for the limited edition in recent years.

Gurkha Assassin toro
This is a strong full-bodied stick. The first inch and a half the spiciness overpowered any other flavors after that it developed a very espresso-like flavor with ceder undertones. Half way through it settled down and the cedr became the predominant flavor. Towards the end it became slightly sweet with a bit of earthiness. I think that this cigar should rest in ones humidor for a few months to mellow it out.

This is definiately for after a hearty meal and would probably go best with a rich, slightly sweet port.
