Well now, Tom, if you know those Gals, and they have a good life and outlook and have some basic good values, you need to maybe put your eye on asking them out for a dinner....yeppers!

Seriously, being involved with someone that has a real faith in the Lord is a smart move. The "real faith" being the operative words. (hint...my Wife and I do so very much share that aspect, and do attend church together, it is a bond added to others that makes it all that much stronger).

The difference between an atheist and a Christian is just one God. I guess I don't believe in that one for the same reason Christians don't believe in all the others, and there are lots of others. I'd love to have faith, but none have met my burden of proof yet.

No, no, no, no, no. There are so many differences between the two belief systems that they simply cannot compare.

I know many people who say this, and I understand it, but it doesn't have to be a deal breaker. For politics, two people with differing beliefs can get along if they can have friendly discussions about it rather than arguments, but if the beliefs are completely opposite and one or both people are passionate about them, that is a problem.

As for religion and philosophy, it's never been a problem for me. I don't have anything against anyone with strong religious or spiritual beliefs - The only time I take exception is when they try to impress those beliefs upon me. So, if our beliefs are very different, let's just agree to disagree, because nobody is going to change their mind. That goes for all relationships in my life, not just my boyfriend.
