Today it's finally wintry, so I wore my dark long topcoat. To me that required a lighter-colored hat, so I chose my Whippet-esque Royal Stetson in gray:

I bashed it in a careless fashion:

And the interior, still in great shape for being, what, a 60-year-old hat?

Perry; Thanks. Glad that you are enjoying the Pendleton Board shirts. Suprisingly versatile garment, IMO. I carry one in the car boot that I can slip on when appropriate. In my travels folks always comment on the shirts. I have taken to flying recently in them while I enjoy the slip on warmth, easy comfort of the wool, but apprecate the dressier, rugged look the shirts can add. They pack great. BTW, now may I interest you in the Pendleton wool jacket? :eusa_doh: In the above pic I am wearing my newest, Pendleton wool jacket (vintage, zip, hip length jacket with slash pockets).

Thanks, Alan. Yes, I prefer to get an early start. Today was good, I was able to get a few things done at the office and be at a clients by 8.00 to help him with a little problem.
