A Christmas Carol ... the Patrick Stewart version. Easily my favorite adaptation, but I always get weepy when watching it. A manly macho kind of weepy, of course. This damnable holiday.

I was highly disappointed by the movie but thoroughly enjoyed the book. The movie and the book were sadly very very different.

Jingle All the Way. If you forget Arnold is the star, and just think of him as the straight man to Sinbad, it's pretty funny!

"Prometheus" - Terribly boring. All effects, no soul.

"The Man From Earth" - Thoughtfull, interesting low budget SciFi "talky" that really gets one thinking.

I was highly disappointed by the movie but thoroughly enjoyed the book. The movie and the book were sadly very very different.

I enjoyed the book as well. Perhaps I was just in the mood for an irreverent vampire movie. Most films just don't live up to the books that spawn them. (I would except Jaws from that statement.)
