There is a restaurant here that does "Sichuan Beans" - basically green beans stir-fried with some chili flakes and a dash of soy sauce. Fantastic! I always order that as a side when I go there.

Another thing that is always a hit with the family during the holidays is green bean casserole. Lots of cheese, bread crumbs over the top and bacon. Mmmmm MMMMM.

The aroma has permeated the house for hours. Potroast..potatoes..string green beans..cottage cheese..and sweet iced tea. German chocolate cake!
