Nutty Neighbors

Really? In NYS you can trim everything back to your property line. And if the tree is in bad shape (damaged, or not structurally correct) and it damages your property, you can seek those damages in court. (Even if the owner of the property states that they did not know the tree was faulty.)
Same thing here. The threat of the tree over my chimney falling on my building back there made them trim it back to their side ever since. Their homeowner's insurance must have told them to get with the program. :p

Oh, I can seek compensation if it falls and damages my property. The tree trimmers around here are afraid to trim the infringing trees around our property because they are worried that said trees might fall upon the idiot's house because of how they lean and that liability would fall upon them. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about the mess they cause other than clean it up myself. It also boils down to the fact that they should be responsible for maintaining their tree, not me.

Ah, I see. That sucks. I can't wait until I have more space between myself and my neighbors. Bad neighbors are hell. Although we have good ones now, it is only a matter of time.

Well then I might accidentally spill a few gallons of Ground Clear next to the fence near that tree.......

Even with good neighbors, I like more space. Fortunately, I only have one annoying neighbor.
:D

More space is always good. Fortunately on neighbor is on the far side of his acre lot. The other fruitcakes are fairly close and always worried that I am looking into their windows or something. Insane.... If they would buy some damned drapes instead of using trees as drapes then they wouldn't have to worry---Morons!

If only you knew the situation. You couldn't pay me to peek. Just the therapy alone......

I can testify with all candor, a suggestion I may offer you could help so very much. Buy a cheap inflatable sex doll, get some duct tape and a cheap pair of binoculars, set the doll pointed at the offending neighbors home in your window, with the binoculars taped to the face of the inflatable doll. Oh put a cheap wig or an old unwanted hat or cap on the doll, to spice the appearance up a bit. Aim the doll at your neighbor's property.

I have done this on more than one occasion regarding neighbors over the course of living in different homes over the years. It works. Well, it works to make them close up their windows, and on one occasion, the neighbor moved. If the local law enforcement arrives at your home, they cannot do anything about your having a "peeping" sex doll, no laws on the books that a doll cannot wear binoculars and be pointed out your window at your neighbors house! lol! Oh yes. if they wanted to make an arrest, let the channel 2 news team in on the bust, "local sex doll arrested for wearing taped binoculars, but case dismissed due to deflation! LOL!" POP!

The doll would commit deflaticide if it saw what goes on over there......

Lovemyhats2, that is a wonderful idea.
A man after my own heart.
One of my former neighbors, used to have a cardboard cut out of Jeff Gordon from a grocery store promotion. He kept the figure close to the window, near a table, with a light in the room behind it. Thus giving the appearance that someone was home.

Would groundclear sprayed in a pattern to spell MOVE be too obvious?

I don't want them to get the idea that I am EVER looking at them because I don't. Heck, I don't want to be shocked!:eeek::eusa_doh:

MOVE would be too obvious. :p I could think of a few other things that might make them move though. :p
