I just found a Lee Trinity Blue Label with labeling and other details very similar to yours, Steve. In the photos I saw it doesn't look like it has the plastic crown tip protector. It has the same $10 price tag, but no OPS label. It doesn't appear to be factory blocked. I'll post photos when I receive it.

The two new old stock Lee Trinity Blue Label hats of mine were set up this way. I tend to think they came from the factory as is because there were open crown hats in this find (but can't remember if any were Lee hats). The later Adam's were also not open crown. It's possible the store could order as open crown. Looking forward to your photos!

Update:

I went back in this thread and found this Lee ad -> "And it's shaped for you..... forever." from the same time period. The hat is setup like both of my new old stock Lee Trinity Blue Label hats.

This new old stock Lee Adventure from the same find is setup the same way.

Recently I acquired a Lee Trail OR clone. Nice hat that needs a little ribbon work and attention to the wind trolley, but I like it. Really nice felt and good quality leather on the sweatband. I found a couple of little both nips, but nothing that distracts from the appearance of the hat IMO.

Michael, don't you have a Lee Corral? I think I recall seeing you post a photo of it at some point a while back. I wonder what the differences between the two models are.

Rick--I had a Corral until last week when I gave it away to a new employee who showed up on the second day of work wearing an Open Road. It's a round oval and it didn't quite fit my long oval head. Although it has the same liner, the Corral is a Black Label quality hat so it looks like your Trail is a notch or two above. Plus it looks like the Trail may have a wider brim. The Corral has a 2 1/2 inch brim, and it doesn't have a wind trolley.

Rick; Excellent Lee. That thin ribbon is a gorgeous vtg hat.

Michael; A gift of your Corral is a terrific welcome to a new hat wearing employee. That is a great idea for employee retention in my book.

Michael, that is VERY generous of you! BTW - are you hiring? LOL

All American

Added this nice Lee All American to my collection the other day. Its a great looking hat, in nice shape and has a good fit. I'm new to the Fedora world and not real familiar with the Lee brand, but am learning a lot looking through this thread. any idea on its age? I was thinking possibly late 50s?
