Both seriously underrated actors, Lee's greatest in my opinion was indeed Lord Summerisle in the original The Wicker Man...Ron Moody was great in the musical Oliver and in the stage version too!

One of my favorite Observation Bar threads here is one about 'rasslin'. Rhodes (who's real name was Virgil Runnels) was one of the all-time legends.

I - I don't believe it! THE Sir Christopher Lee... dead? I've grown up with SO many of his movies, that the thought is just.... I can't process it. Not to mention that my favorite reading of Poe's "The Raven" was his.

Grand Ole Opry Star and newest member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Jim Ed Brown passed away today at 81.

Another big loss for real country music. Grew up with, and love all his stuff. His songs he sang with his sisters, solo, with Helen Cornelius, all fantastic.

Christopher Lee actually died Sunday morning (June 7th). Although Internet rumors were apparently circulated, the official announcement of his passing was delayed until family members were informed. But, yeah, it's unusual to hear of so many celebrity deaths on the same day.
Thinking back, I realized I've seen comparatively few of the movies Sir Lee starred or was featured in, but I can't recall ever thinking his performances were anything but perfect even if the movie wasn't particularly good.
