Thanks for all the compliments folks. JC really is damn good at making leather jackets. As noted by Butte in another thread, it's fantastic for us that he's branching out into doing more civilian styles.
Once I am settled and employed again I am going to get a brown version of this done. I'm even tempted to go with a super light colored leather, like the original that was copied for this pattern.

That is a beautiful looking jacket! Love the patina on the Horween...especially considering how new it is. And the fit is like a glove...as good as if it were custom.
Honestly, if the home cooking starts to add up, and you find it's getting way too tight, I'd like to be the first in line for a crack at it.
