Cloudy and cool here for a change. I may have to throw a jacket over the rayon shirt.

Superb collection of hats today. Out of the park.

Michael
You have an extraordinary sense of clothing style and color matching, Michael! (And no, I don't think you overpaid for the hat.)

It certainly does young Jim, great shirt and I'm loving the colour of the Gannon.

Thank you! And Props to Mr. Gannon for a job well done!

This Aloha Friday malarkey is producing some fabulous hats/shirts combo. Despite much of the shirt hiding under the Scala, I am seriously impressed. Great Panama, great shirt.

Can I join in with Aloha Friday? Hat by Esther, shirt by Tina.

What am I like, I could have saved a lot of time and just agreed with this succinct comment.

Welcome to the club! Aloha Fridays are fairly common at military installations. A way for commanders to allow their civilian staff to loosen up a bit at the end of the week (at least that's my knowledge of it). I can hit Wright-Patterson AFB with a rock from my office, and our office use to be run by a guy who was a head of the B-2 Program Office. He was the one who instituted Aloha Friday here. He's gone, but some of us still carry on the tradition.

You guys always look so sharp on Aloha Friday! I don't think my shirts would qualify.

Maybe we need a Howdy Thursday?

Or bowling shirt Monday, perhaps?! This is going to be GRreat!!

Had a buddy in college who found a bowling shirt at a thrift store with the name "Merle" on the breast. Ever since, I've wanted a Bowling shirt that said, "Merle."

And once, after listening to The Cos' 200 Miles Per Hour, we all went down to the Army-Navy surplus store, who had a large supply of 2nd-hand filling station work shirts. We all bought filling station shirts with "Bob" name tags on them. I think we really confused the owner...

Eric. It's got all the right lines.

Thanks sir! I appreciate the compliment as I respect your eye.

Good afternoon. I took an early Friday afternoon off. I am feeling a bit mentally and physically whooped. On the drive home I feel mentally lighter (mental and physical) as I have pledged to not work this weekend. Should be a fun weekend. Look out Minnesota!

Feeling lighter and buoyed by sharing a new cap from Monvsivais Caps ( https://www.facebook.com/Monsivais-Co-250555621788683/ ). Today I got to open the box that arrived last week. Love the cap.

The 70'F breezy afternoon temps are great weather to give a new cap a "spin." Everyone needs a blue herringbone cap. Serriousely, folks you need to check out the artisans caps.

Great fabrics, everyday tough sweat and artisan craftsmanship make it a grand value for the money.

Everyone has their "perfect vision of a cap or a hat. I enjoy a bit more side fabric profile, ala 1920-30's.

The craftsmanship makes you proud to take off and show the inside when those occasions arise.

Loving the option to choose what to do this afternoon and evening! Best, Eric -
