Never thought I'd like Homburgs until I looked at some of the beautiful pieces posted in this thread! So, resistance was futile as I now own 2 'Homies'! This latests acquisition is in pretty much pristine condition and the markings indicate it is from the 40s (?). As my knowledge continues to grow as a hat scholar and an almost 'intermediate' collector, I have become a fan of Homburgs (I now own 2) and really love my latest 'find.'

Great Stetson vintage Homburg, NewJack. So glad to hear you've seen the light )) and are now a Homburg fan. I wouldn't be without mine. I have 5, but I'm still on the look out for more.
