The other night we had grilled pork steaks and my wife chided me for making Kraft mac & cheese. But sometimes you just need " that certain taste" and nothing else will do!

Stopped at the hood deli last nite for rare Italian roast beef, bread, and frozen spaghetti&meatballs. Will pick up a bottle of California zinfandel,
and toss the block inside the microwave. I sure can cook.

Change of plans...I didn't have any chicken like I thought, so I threw some shredded pork into a pot with chicken broth and seasonings, thickened it up with a bit of cornstarch, and that's going over the rice with steamed broccoli on the side.

My moms been in the hospital so I've been there every day and it's been take out or delivery every night. Took today off and dinners gonna be blackened, bone-in ribeye steak, potatoes boiled in heavy salt water and then baked until the skin gets crusty and a green salad.
