We mention this leather jacket company from time to time, but I can't find a thread dedicated to them. Please post your images here.

Went to the https://deyoung.famsf.org/summer-love-art-fashion-and-rock-roll exhibit today. A couple of East/West jackets were featured. Pictures to follow.

i like a bunch of their styles just fine but it's difficult to find any that'll fit me (i'm 6'1" 180)
the only single EW i found that coulda' fit was on a japanese site and was labeled XXL w/ 42" chest. ha!
they were made to fit tightly and for a very particular (young/thin ; ) crowd.

I know theres a US company called South Paradiso Leather I came across before who have been remaking some of the East West designs for about ten years now, as well as their own designs...

"Along with our countless original designs we also make exact East West Musical Instruments Co. Jackets. Lovingly re-created in the highest grade materials. We have a collection in the hundreds of original jackets including 1 of a kind employee or sample jackets that never made it to production. Unlike other high fashion imitators we do not take credit for these designs, but boldly include a leather tag inside, approved by the East West Musical Instruments Co. Designer Norman Stubbs. We are very proud to have his endorsement and keep his legacy living on.

Order your favorite EAST WEST MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS CO. Jacket today ! Custom colors range from metallic to earth tones. Also all jackets can be made to custom fit most anyone."

They have a website (with little or no infomation) but there is a link on it to their facebook page.

I happened on a vintage (high end) clothing store in the Bowery (NYC) called Recollection.
I was surprised to see three East/West jackets for sale. The guy laughed, said he'd just sold
one, and pulled out three more! Here are the first three, with his permission.

Wow, amazing. I kinda wish I had photographed the other 3, but it
was clear he wasn't thrilled with the ones I did take- told me it was
okay, but that they have a no photos policy.

BTW, meant to add that Recollection rents these jackets out- not all
are even for sale. So if you have a special occasion coming up and can
wear a very small size..

I really, really like these jackets. There's something about them. They just reek of rock and roll, 70's cool. They sell for a proper mint. Never handled one, but the leather looks pretty damn good. As do the repros from Japan and the link @l0fielectronic provided. I'm probably not quite cool enough, nor do I have enough hair to pull one off...but if I did:
