My highwayman arrived this afternoon, complete victory. Except it is very light jacket, only 5.2 lbs.

Your jacket is very nice, even if it is a little short for my taste: you can see the whole trouser belt, which the jacket does not cover in the front! Just this morning I pointed out to my wife that a wool sweater had shrunk and did not even reach the belt !!!!!
But I have noticed that many people in FEDORA buy very short jackets in waist, like yours: it is a sign that fashion changes a lot from country to country.
Anyway congratulations, your jacket is really beautiful.

You have an incredible collection of jackets, but this is one of the best (among those I saw from your photos): simple and perfect, both in length and wearability. Compliments.

Thank you, I should wear it more often. I have 3 CR including this one. The others are a 60's Brown Brooks, and a Goodwear "Californian" Racer in HH

I really didn't plan this. I'm breaking in 2 jackets. Then, a post, right by my house. Lost Worlds Anj-4. Barely worn. Screamin deal. What's a fella to do? So, I guess that's what i'm wearing today.

Powerband is that Vanson shorter on the left side compared to the right..??

Coincidentally those two pictures made the sides of the jacket appear asymmetrical, but both sides are equal; it’s my damn shoulders that are asymmetrical—at least the way I’m standing like freaking Quasimodo. In the two photos below, captured while I’m in the rare process of turning invisible, you can see that the zippers are symmetrical. Howevever, you can also see that the left side has more “ripples” along the zipper line from general use and bending... which may, at certain angles and in my Quasimodo pose, may give the appearance that Vanson has drunken quality control. But that’s far from the truth and Vanson has utterly awesome quality craftsmanship (I have a competition-leather riding jacket along with this Comet from Vanson and they’re both incredibly well put together). It’s me that’s all crooked, especially after my usual drinks.

Well, i liked it enough to plop down some clams, but as i've only owned it a few hours, i don't feel qualified to comment yet. I can say this, it is very well made, and SUBSTANTIAL. Standing still and posing was a walk in the park. Driving a car through downtown Chicago was a reasonable workout. Oh yeah, and i turned the heat off in the car (22f outside).
