Here's a few photos taken yesterday while I was out in my recently acquired Aero Half-belt. This one is really nice. Heavy horse, and I don't think Aero is sourcing anything this heavy currently.

I have it listed for sale in the classifieds, but to be honest I'm not sure I want to sell it. It's growing on me. Mainly I was I thinking it's just a little bit small, but I'm losing weight, and in a few months if I still have it, I may change my mind about letting it go.

What do you think?

It looks fine in the shoulders, sleeves, and chest, and being an owner of a LHB, I think that's the proper length. How's the crucial zipper test? Does it zip up?

Yes, over a t-shirt. Don't think I could get much else under it at my present weight, though.

Looks great on you as it is.

I always say, you can’t un-sell it. If you are losing weight, hang in to it till next season and see how it goes.

Really nice jacket!

Nice style and color. But in my opinion the fit of your jacket is horrid. If I wasn't trying to be polite I would say it fits like shit. And it's short too. Sorry to be as abrupt but I can't take those worthless praises anymore. Had to take it off my chest.

I really can't see what twisted pleasure people here find in seeing it fits bad but lying to you about it. Beats me.

If you wonder why the fit is horrid then look at the areas marked in red. Do they look OK to you?
Of course the problem is not you, or the jacket size, but the jacket's pattern. If you lose weight it will look even worse.

Should be enough to tell you that if you got creases it's not good.
Sorry these are not perfect but couldn't spend more time on this. I am sure that if you google "bad fit" will find better ones.

Why don't you guys just tell him the truth?
Trying to be nice to him and lie about it while letting him in the darkness is shitty behavior.
Unless if you are all so blind and ignorant that can't see that the jacket fit is crap. Are you?

I find it almost impossible to get anything near a fit that can be accomplished with a suit. Soft material allows for a very tailored fit. Leather is a completely different animal. The best you will see in the leather typically found around TFL would be a tailored fit with jacket zipped up that looks awesome but is not practical for real life movement. The half belt is not a design like the cafe racer where the fit is designed, by function, to fit very close. In your first photo of Guppy you see the slight bunch of leather that exists in all of my leather jackets, including the "Grail". If Guppy temporarily draws both shoulders back, while the jacket is zipped up, that look would vanish. Each movement produces different bunching of the leather.

Instead of illustrations (and of a suit at that, a comparison that doesn't even apply), why don't you post photos of yourself in a leather jacket? I'm really curious to learn how do you think a leather jacket should fit.

Everyone, I value all of your opinions, especially from those who see issues with the fit. But above all, let's keep this civil. I don't want this thread shut down. Thanks.

@Guppy, I think there is room in "everyones" ( At least everyone on TFL) closet for a jacket that fits just like that.. don't sell it..
is it a bit short? probably, but if you don't mind then i'm pretty sure no one else will even notice, And i bet you'll get a few complements along the way too.
@Broker glad to have you here most of us have a thick skin and can take it.. so say what you want. Im just wondering if you're another keyboard commando who posts here by a different name and likes to stir it up ..
