Which of your jackets gets the most attention?

Which of your jackets gets the most attention? I mean in-person comments or non-verbal cues (either positive or negative) from people outside your family and close friends.

I wear leather jackets because I enjoy them, not to seek attention. But I think it's interesting to note which ones get noticed.

My jackets haven't received a lot of attention from strangers. But three stand out. I tend to wear my jackets to the bar when I meet a buddy for drinks.

One is my Schott 626. I first wore it out to the bar. One guy sitting a few tables away stared at it for a while as soon as I took a seat. He didn't say anything to me but he was obviously admiring it. Two waitresses made it a point to tell me they liked it. Both happened to be African-American (just an observation).

Another is my 1970s TT Leathers cafe racer (for obvious reasons). One guy at the bar noted it immediately. Later, his girlfriend said she really liked it. My smarta$$ buddy started calling me Michael Jackson and/or Eddie Murphy (my pal obviously knows little about leather jackets, LOL). I'm actually surprised that I don't receive more comments from strangers about this one.

The other is my Walter Dyer CR. In addition to the bar, I wear this one while running errands and such. This jacket is nothing outwardly flashy, but I notice people stop and stare when I walk into a room. It commands attention.

Hmmm...
The jacket in my avatar....
Not a comment or verbal reaction because people are polite in the establishment but it left me an empty seat next to me on otherwise crowded church. And no i dont look scary nor abusing substance nor having bad BO.... must be the jacket.

I wore my brown jacket to cinema and while watching The Nun, maybe the aircond was colder that day, i squirmed a bit on my seat and my jacket make a fart noise loudly from brushing against the pleather seat.... i immediately scored attentions two hijab wearing women immediately cover what remained uncovered portion of their faces with their hands. The movie was not scary at all, generic hollywood jump scare, so again I blame the jacket.

oh almost forgot
at our country indepence day neighborhood flag rising ceremony... 17th of august this year, it was held at the parking lot of nearby catholic convent walking distance from where I live at sunrise and the dress code was white shirt and black pants, it was strangely 16c outside which was freezing for somebody who live in usual 24-33c constant temp. sunrise where I live is 6am in the morning, so I had to leave home 5.30

I wore a matching black jacket, I remember to unsnapped the cross decoration on the back and left it at home because the cross don't have some jesus hanging on it riiight... catholics nuns and brothers living there might find it offensive I thought how very considerate of me being a non catholic. so arriving at the parking lot little that I knew the neighborhood committee had the entire event filmed by a local tv station (the first time ever happened in 37yrs I've been living in this neighborhood), and then the MC through microphone told us participants who wore anything more than what mentioned in the dresscode to either take it off or move to the back of the line because they wanted to make it looks good for TV ...easy choice ...there is no way I would drop my jacket on the soil in half light who know if there was no dog or cat poo on it beside it was cold, fatter people carry their jacket with them, I have none and I walked there rather than driving, and I was standing near the front of my line because I arrived earlier than many others who lived in our street, so on TV later on that week the camera showed me walking back off my line, I bet it got some attention...

As I have said before in other threads, my Cordovan Bootlegger gets the most glances and comments from strangers. I think it has more to do with the color then anything else, that Cordovan CXL is beautiful stuff.
My two Langlitz jackets also get their fair share of compliments and I think that has more to do with fit because they are both pretty basic black MC jackets.
Cool idea for a thread Gamma, thank you!

What a great thread topic! In real life, it's definitely the Himel Grizzly jacket. However, when I post pictures on Instagram, my Real McCoy's A2 definitely gets the most love. I haven't been able to wear the new Freewheelers jacket too much yet so we'll see how that one stacks up.

Mainly because the color on the Aero is just atypical and the lost hills beach cloth has an equally uncommon appearance. All of my black leather biker jackets have been seen as the same thing, regardless of what they were or who made them.
When I owned them these three received a fair amount of attention as well:

Only ever had one comment, which was while wearing an Irvin, something along the lines of "l used to own one of those", but that's it. :(

My battered tan cafe racer jacket has received the most positive comments (about 4 or 5) with one bloke wanting to buy it from me in a pub. Cordovan LHB has attracted some attention, but people don't generally tend to notice leather jackets- I usually find that I am the only person wearing one in any given room, and people tend to see them as an affectation. I tend toward a Carhartt jacket these days, or an overcoat as it gets colder. On several occasions, colleagues have actively taken the pi55, but it doesn't bother me that much.

That beach jacket beats the nuts of any leather jacket I've seen on this (or any other) forum. It is a fantastic thing.

My brown FQHH Mariner because it is probably the coolest and most versatile jacket I've ever owned.
And my black FQHH, shearling lined LHB (aka "the beast") because it actually looks like a beast.
Usually it is people in the train staring at the jackets, a couple of times commenting and asking what brand they are (and how much did they cost).

Has to be this one, Aero Blizzard, my newest acquisition. I’ve received more compliment and comments on it than any other jacket I have. Mostly it’s people commenting that it’s “a nice flying jacket”.

The other one that comes to mind is the Schott perfecto. But, the attention is more along the lines of “where’s the motorcycle”.
