Ha! Pics were taken at the same time. Bodie will get in the smaller bed 9 out of ten times. Besides, no dog in the house will mess with the red dragon. 15 yoa, blind in one eye and can't see out of the other due to cataracts and almost totally deaf. Invade her space and she will bite that A$$.

For the most part. Her name is Angel but like most around here she has a nickname. She earned the moniker "Red Dragon" or RD after she bit through my thumbnail. A near death experience for her until my pain subsided.

My dog Cochise found the original Oak hardwood floor underneath the new wall-to-wall carpeting on the bedroom floor, when he was just a pup. Unfortunately I already knew it was there.

We occasionally refer to our dog Butch as "Butcher" because he loves to tear things apart. I half-joke that we should contact the companies that make "indestructible" dog toys and submit him for a testing candidate, because if there's a way to destroy something he'll find it. Family and friends will occasionally give us a toy for him to play with, almost always one of those soft plush things with a "squeaker" somewhere inside, and within 20-30 minutes we're picking up the shredded remains and stuffing while he's running around the house with the "squeaker" in his mouth. "Indestructible" toys usually take at least a little longer, but he's made quick work of a few of them as well.

Haha! Yep, our beagle makes a specialty out of dismantling squeaky toys. It is amazing how quickly and neatly she finds them and takes them out. I’m afraid to fall asleep around her lest I wheeze or snore, and entice her to investigate!
