Standby on this thread. I ordered a 30's half belt in natural horsehide- the same Aero used in their collaboration with Epaulet of New York. Will post when I receive. Not even made .......YET!

Neither. It is from the Comipel tannery in Italy. You can read more about it on the Epaulet website I believe.

How soft is it compared to vicenza?
Looks lovely and should age well!

It's a bit softer, I suspect because it hasn't got a top coat, but equally dense. I've not worn mine out yet, the weather here has been pretty chilly, but it's looking good for this week. Looking forward to watching the colour change.
Oh, and I would go with the raw or Vicenza over the Horween natural. It's a nice colour but doesn't come close to the colour of the other two.

It does darken, though nowhere near to the same extent as the raw leather. The Vicenza starts off as a more honey-esque colour compared to the clotted cream of the raw. But it's got a top coat, which I think limits the effect the elements can have on it and the amount of change you'll get.
