James Robinsons&Sons of Romiley, England homburg in black. Size 61 with the brim at 6cm and the crown at 11,5cm at the center dent. I never heard of this hatter before, but the company was founded in 1880. Could not find out when it closed, but I supect it was out of business by the mid sixties (as most of the Englsih makers were). This one dates from the late fifties to early sixties I believe. Lovely hand to the felt and well finished. It didn't like side pinches dry creased, so I left it without for now.
Romiley is located in the same area as Stockport and Denton, the center of British felt hat manufacture.

Another oldie; I'm thinking thirties (note the mention of H.M the King on the label).
Woodrow&Sons fedora in brown. First one I found in my size. Bound brim at 6,5cm and crown 10cm at the center dent. The hat shows its age and the ribbon has the most wear for some reason (but I'm reluctant to have it replaced). The crown patch was covered with cellophane, but it was a mess. I managed to restore it to a reasonable standard without the covering.
The nice thing about it is that has vents on the side, which is the first time I've seen that on an English hat. Felt is in excellent shape, with a lovely hand.

It is very beautiful, even if the opportunity to actually wear it as a tuxedo hat may not come around very often.
Here is another Tuxedo Hat. I am not sure if it is English or French.
Anyone?
I don't think I had posted this here before, but I could be wrong. Very luxurious. It came inside a coffin box. Interesting label under it... Comments, please?

T&W Lees Plymouth in black. Size 57 with the bound brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. This could work as a fedora too, but I don't think it was meant that way. Do I really need another black fedora? Of course not, but I'm a fan of T&W Lees hats, so if I find one, I bring it home with me. Very well made hats and superior to anything I've seen from Lock&Co or Christys so far.
