Internet people don’t know what they’re talking about. On long camping trips my backpack is about 1/3 of my body weight. What I’m saying is, you could go with an even heavier jacket. Hey, maybe you should!

Hh, I don't think that jacket's gonna make you happy. I believe you've surpassed jackets in that particular way and need to explore and expand your style more. You need something else now and only you know what that is. I could be wrong but... All of this sounds all to familiar.

oh, I have said that in previous post, if I order 6 oz and turns out 5 oz, that will makes me unhappy. Having said that, I am seriously considering to change the thickness from 6 oz to 5 oz.

my current JL only weight 7.2 lbs or so, but feel like 8.5 lbs. I have to say LW makes best pattern, I don't feel heavy when I put on 8.2 lbs j23.
p.s schott p613s feels like 6 lbs jacket when I put it on, even though it weight 7.2 lbs

So I did some research and camel leather has 10x the density of cowhide, so maybe get a 0.6 oz camelhide jacket instead?! No health concerns there!

What if you order 5oz and it turns out to be 4 ? To be totally on the safe side order 7oz !! Even if there's no such thing. If you order 7 you'll definitely get 6 and not 5 and definitely not 4

Alan will have to supply a certificate that every panel of the jacket was measured with a calibrated thickness micrometer, and that the thickness of every panel is exactly 2.4 mm. Then, and only then will Hh quit TFL.
