What do you wear under your jacket?

Under my BR jacket I prefer Breton and Arran jumpers or plain crew neck wool jumpers in the cold season. In early spring and autumn, I wear cotton sweatshirts and hoodies.

If it's warmer, usually just a short-sleeved t-shirt. If it's colder, either a long-sleeved t-shirt or a sweatshirt.

I am of Scottish heritage....you are not supposed to ask that question.

Hey ! I "resemble' that remark haha...

Here in Western Australia it does get "cold" , but not like Europe , Canada or the Northern US states.

For a winter Harley ride I will wear a long bodied over the arse long or short sleeve thin "thermal" T under a long sleeve Gildan T and one of my "warmer" jackets.

For a summer ride , just a short sleeve T (or long depending) and the jackets (lightest weight) come off as soon as you hall up at the coffee stop or pub. Most of the T shirts have a "logo" of some type.

If riding to work , a long sleeve 3 button polo shirt and black jeans ( that obviously don't look like "denims" )

All these pics used before now on the lounge. 'Moaning minnies' need not apply ( or reply haha...)

Depending on season and relative level of formality, I tend to wear a polo or shirt, often with a tie, and often a waistcoat as well under the leather. Don't often wear a sweater unless I'm switching to a heavier, longer overcoat.

I usually only wear a jacket if it's cold enough to justify it. I almost always wear a thin fleece quartet zip pull over (North Face, Columbia, etc.) under them. This was the jacket does get too bulky/puffy. Sometimes a super thin performance fleece. These all have collars. For me, just me IMO, I like the look of a collared shirt under a jacket. I like a little more build up around my neck. As a result, I dont think I really ever wear T-Shirts with jackets although I know its "a look"

I am the opposite. I hate stuff around my neck like shirt collars. Hence, tees, or crew neck light sweaters underneath my jackets. That limits my options for sure.

25 year old "MAMBO" T shirt today. A true Aussie classic , THE FARTING DOG ! Bought new in '95.

How irreverent and classically Australian is that ? Goes well with any jacket haha...

Backdrop is a flowering Calistemon Australian native , also 25 years, planted when we moved into our house.

The local parrots , Rainbow Lorikeets , Green Ring necked and white Cockatoos all love it.
