That’s how I k ow I’m not a collector. Having those and not being able to wear them would gnaw at me! I saw that other Cali on eBay too. Was a good deal. Are you going to attempt a repair? I can say that any one of those in my size and on my shoulders would have me leaving this hobby and never looking back.

These are legitimate well-made jackets, I was at their outlet shop in the 90s. quality with out the hype

They don't come around often. There is one on ebay, size 36 and these two Beauties on yahoo Japan.

Nice stitched pocket. Deep Rich Pony Hide. c.1940

and my Favorite; The Texan c.1935

That is nice. I think it is somewhat better than the pictures show. Here is a shot of that pocket from some pic I have found.

We were just talking about this Sportclad/Kurlands. This is an interesting transitional jacket with the 40s Sportclad label and early 50s lining, the 2nd edition. I just saw a two star JC Penney jacket with the 50s label and it is not the same as this jacket. These Sportclad/Kurlands were a short lived offering.1947-1950

Here's a deal in Australia. Johnson Leathers motorcycle jacket in 42" (too small for me !)
Looks to have a zip out liner and it looks vented. Kind of an all weathers jacket maybe !
