yes, in my mind it may work, right? just have the mouton top reaching further into the neck or perhaps a strip of leather band if you want to avoid showing the individual tabs peeking outside.

I will check with them if it's doable. I can imagine the part where the buttons will be sewn further down into the lining like they do in the old Cals. I quite like the buttons idea its less invasive and since I don't ride it should be just fine. Thanks again, man.

@navetsea, that's a brilliant solution. You really should be designing outerwear.
I'll order one for sure, count me in too

thanks, honestly:) I think I have seen it somewhere with that loop def on Thedi, and tab is just a next logical step, must have used before too probably, if not then there must be a reason why not, just make sure the top mouton have enough reach even when the collar is folded down in any way, make sure no stress or any pull, otherwise it will stress the liner and might pull the liner up.

I took the tassel thing off my chest pockets, but I like it on the main zippers. It’s these sleeves I’m not sure about. I can see it getting dipped in soy sauce soon, so I think I’ll remove and leave on the pocket. Do you leave the wrist tassels on?

Real or fake? (Or lvc reproduction?)

Edit: nevermind, it's LVC Made in Spain

@technovox you've got one of these right?

Man, you are on a roll with the truckers and LVCs! Great finds! This is what's keeping me from buying an Aero Type 3 because the jacket can be had for less.

I shortened the leather pull on the brown jacket as well, I just cut it out and blunted the edges like what @navetsea mentioned.

I didn't bother on the black jacket as Greg put grommets to secure the pulls and I don't want to mess that up

I remove them all, except for the main zipper. and if that is particularly long, there is a knot on top.

The best (and only) way to learn more about jackets is by handling a lot of jackets so I basically buy whatever I can find. I like to see and experience how jackets were made and what leather they're made of. Last weekend I got lucky with the finds and bought 5 jackets. I do try to limit my purchases to jackets that are rare or unusual in one way or the other. That's why I'm going to pass on this LVC trucker. It's a newer LVC of which there are plenty around.

Can't wait to receive this one, which looks like it's an original vintage. Bought from a guy in France. Should be delivered next week.

I find the pulls useful when wearing gloves. Generally I like to have them, and if a jacket comes without them, first thing I do is replace the missing ones.
