The 80s type padding makes me pause. But I may go for it. I’m old enough to fondly remember the 80s.
That was my first leather jacket in the mid 90’s! Bought at a thrift store in Dekalb, IL! Mine was all black and cost me $25. The Rocky III!
Edit: it may have actually been $40. I remember it cost me the same as a favorite herbal past time and I had to weigh the purchase against that.

The gray E that got away still haunts me. I’m looking for some sort of replacement.

Is Schott Bros related to Schott of today? Is this something different completely? Tagged size 44, might fit a little different. Shoulder measurement is a little narrow but P2P a little bigger.

It's the same company.
Same company. The Schott company is a family owned company with the last name Schott and have had different labels and variations on the name over the years. Founded by two brothers Jack and Irving I believe were there names.

I own the same jacket! The one pictured is missing the inner liner where the label should be. I believe the cafe jacket was made in the 1970's! In the 70's The labels say's "Schott Bros. Sportswear" In the 80's the label says "Schott NYC. Sportswear". The tag should be in the left hand outer pocket.
