I have this exact jacket in 44. It's up in my list of frequently worn. Reasonably well made imo and very comfortable.

Super comfortable. I had the same jacket by Walter Dyer. Easy to wear. I like the hide too.

I had a Kerr racer but it was different than Walter Dyer. Interesting to see the same model, though. Walter Dyer had the best leather out of the three I had, closely followed by Kerr. All were 2x as thick as whatever's considered heaviest today.

I just purchased this California Creations. Thanks to Guppy for sharing his experience with me. It is cleaning up nicely. I own a Branded DR and this is heavier. Based upon the limited discussion I have found, this may be an underrated brand.

One could argue Cal Leathers is better, but I got this for half, it not less, of what a comparable Cal would typically cost.
