Dobbs Gamebird. Seller says 1960s, but I don’t think so:

Lots. Says Stratoliner, but the outside has an over welt brim and wide ribbon instead of a ribbon bound edge and a 3/8ths ribbon. The inside shows a 1940s logo, but the liner has plastic and the maple leaf logo meaning it is 50s. Also, is the liner pieced together from some paisley material and an original Stetson liner? There is a LOT that seems odd about that hat to me.

Me too. I asked for more photos:

I just don't know what to say about this hat... I hope others chime in, here.

It’s a nice looking hat, the felt looks to be soft, and felted brims were usually reserved for better hats. If it was my size I’d buy it, but I’m not spending $170 for a size 7 hat to satisfy my curiosity.

Frankenliner or maybe Stratostein i would say.

I think you guys hit most of the points. I saw what looked like a felted edge and I thought maybe a Sovereign with an old Strat sweatband swapped out in it. Then there was that liner…. And that manufacturers tag…. Maybe something different all together.

very nice hat whatever it is…. But not at that price

It would be a great price if it was 5-6 sizes larger. My constant lament. :)

In guitar-speak, I'd have to say it looks like a Partscaster for sure.
