I bought lunch from a street vendor near the jacket workshop, so i walked in to try again.
The front belt loop need to be made longer since it doesnt fit 2x thickness of the belt ( i use vegtan 4mm belt).

I didnt ask for forward rotation for the sleeve on this since I want more creases along the front of the sleeve.

can not wait to spray some water on it to shape. those collar and lapel would look and behave a lot better after wet shaped.

I love it already! Your designs are only getting better!

I feel strange seeing you in a more regular jacket! Looks nice.

Temps are going down! I'm finally wearing the jacket inside the house during the evenings. Not time to wear outside yet. Shaped the collar a bit with cold water. It's goatskin but I'm sure that getting it wet (careful because if you rubit it, it can always lose colour on to your hands or stuff)

Johnson Leather “Cascade” style to have an easy wear after several days of work with my Type III.

I'm more comfortable with it open than expected, at first I thought I would only wear it zipped because it’s sorta floppy with the midsection. @tmitchell59 thank you for showing so many different ways to wear a crosszip it really opened my eyes.

Thanks man! Jacket and hide really been growing on me. We have a slowly growing Horween Vermont krewe heh

You are welcome, although I'm not quite sure how I helped! I was very late in life wearing a cross zip. You are young and wear it well.

Thank you, Terry. You showcase a lot of styles and share pics showing different ways of wearing, different postures and zip placement etc. Often there’s just 1 maybe 2 views of a jacket, I know I often just post 1 picture. Looking at your recent post with the Bill Kelso jacket I thought “Dang looks killer! Wait that reminds me of what my JL looks like unzipped I should do that”

Jacket weather is showing through these Days. Peeks out then goes back. I did a three jacket wear one day. This Bill Kelso Dodger was next. Very comfortable fitting jacket. They do get the sizing correct, at least for me.

Hear nothing about BK here. Their jackets are seldom on the secondary market.

Bought new in fast wearing Liberty Horsehide. Probably 10 years aged. My go to jacket for several years. Started the wear through on Day 1, so much I contacted BK. I also owned an A2 that aged very quickly.

The Ball and Chain pull is a bit out of place with the 50s Talon main zipper. It is also broken.

The design seems to come from varies decades. The Button Cuffs, throat tab, just a mixed bag.

Ok, I get it!

I saw this post after doing a "Captain Morgan" with the BK Dodger! Yes, I'm a "poser" in some ways. I see to see the movement of the jacket, how it looks in real natural ways of wearing. Worn jackets are not flat, they have dimension, flow, angles, they move/change etc..I typically don't stand around in a "Captain" pose, but it does show off the jacket, that is what is all about.

Thanks, first jacket with collar for me.

Cool pocket config on yours, and very nice curving from hem drop on that. Congrats!

I like your style. No hat today?
The first picture came out wonky, so I took a different one and ended up beheaded. I had a vintage grey Knox derby paired with the Vanson this morning. Ditched the jacket and went with a vintage Borsalino in the afternoon to meet my son at the bus stop.

Here's an older picture of the derby and today's Borsalino, respectively:
