Friends,

I am looking for Buco or repro high dome bars for my jacket.
Please let me know if you have some or know of a place that has some.

Thanks!

Here is a picture of a Blatt jacket I purchased 2 weeks ago. There seem to have been something attached and removed from the epaulettes. The perforation does not match up with the end tabes on the dome bars I purchased. Anyone have an idea what was used originally

Actual military pin-on rank insignia? Two LT bars or Captain bar. Can’t tell if the jacket has pin holes.

How is the jacket? The eBay pics look great.

I am stoked about the jacket. I met to post but my pictures did not come out, the details were washed. I wanted to say I had found my grail jacket and took my other D-pockets and four front pocket jackets out for comparison pictures and saw I had many grail jackets. What I can say about my new to me Blatt is the details and execution are bars above any of my other vintage jackets like the maker went to school with the new Japanese makers
The fit is perfect for casual wear over light shirts dialed in like a bespoke fit

This sound interesting. Strong words from an experienced owner. Look forward to hearing/seeing more on the Blatt.

I am guessing the jacket dates from the 40s, I can not tell from the zips but based on the horsehide

The lining indicates late 40s, the main pull looks 50s. This happens on these early post-war jackets. This is the Golden Years for the post-war motorcycle jackets.

To be clear, just military insignia applied sometime in the last 70-80 years. I did not mean that it was a military jacket.

The Blatt always looked high quality to me. At least on par with the other top tier vintage jackets I own.

They appear to be the more oval, thinner type. I have seen them in ebay and other places. Let me find a sample. Old HD jackets had them also.
