I need to get another, and larger, Navy WP to wear under my peacoats. It's a good look for me.

I might give some word for a white RN roll neck jumper to match your naval peacoat.
Looking for same to go with my gloverall coat. A consistent nautical line wear. An olive drab jumper
goes quite well for other coats associated with hunting, campus, whatnot, but looks a road block
when worn able bodied seaman kit. Just a penny pitched at curb side.

Hello gentlemen. This is my first post. I've browsed this thread and was inspired to finally buy a Submariner from Outdoor Knitwear. I remember perusing that website about 6 years ago but never actually getting around to picking one up. I got a Navy in size medium, which seems to be recommended for a 40" chest (which I have). Can anyone comment on the sizing? I'm fairly tall at 6 foot 1 inches.
A very good decision. My only fear is that it might be a bit tight or a bit short - or both. They do exchanges quickly and with no hassle and so you could get a Large with no problem. Keep us posted.

Agree with you, but a Navy WP is great with a Naval peacoat - even better and more versatile than the roll neck (I know because I have both).

I'm looking at a crew neck no patches WP on Outdoor Knitwear but, I'm unsure of sizing despite their chart. I have a 42 Brigade Quartermaster WP, but the WPs on Outdoor Knitwear are sized S M L, etc. I'm 6'4 and between 190-200lb. Any sizing advice? I did see some WP tags on eBay showing 36 (S), would this mean 42 = XL?

I Would agree with that, a White RN Roll neck is a great Sweater and would go well with the peacoat.

I have a USMC issue commando sweater that I quite like, especially after I cut off the epaulettes.
It works very well under the USGI OG108 wool field shirt.

And very well under my suede trucker too.

I only have the one, but it's a very versatile warm piece.
I may have to get another in a different color.
I bought a USGI wool sweater from sportsmans guide, but it's thinner and beins used it was kind of stretched out in the neck so I don't wear it.
Maybe they were just made with a looser knif, but it kind of seems like it may have just been worn and washed a lot.
The way the neck is taller in the back seems like a good idea, but I'd need to find a better example of one that wears properly.

I just talked to them yesterday about sizing. I wear a medium and they told me their products run true to size, and to order a medium. I hope they are right as am across the pond

I went to add to cart and realized shipping to my country is almost expensive as the sweater itself, so I may be holding off for now. It will give me more time to decide on sizing at least.

The WP under the wool field shirt looks to be a warm combination. Where was your WP made?

The USGI sweater you have that is stretched in the neck could probably be "blocked" at a dry cleaners and returned to the original size. I know it works in the body of the sweater; don't know why it wouldn't work in the neck.

It looks great on you actually. The only disconcerting thing is that you are semi-decapitated.

I always figure the pictures I post are about the jacket...ect and not about the person wearing it, so I leave myself out of it as much as I can.
Think of me as a human mannequin.
I’m sure there was an album called Human Mannequin? You look great in the WP photos anyway.

Late night or early morning prowl give rise to sartorial thoughts and murmurs of heart and soul, with appreciative nod at understated elegance and the dash rascal look of the sweater well worn. Nothing really tops it all off like a jumper,
casual roll with raised sleeves slid away wrist with sense of purpose yet nonchalance. Elegance, refined and just right rumple added for good measure. Once page turned on a RN officer, outside snap casually reclined back, tea cup at ready. White naval ensign background. A submariner wearing issue roll neck, signature boldly writ.

I like your style Sir. … In fact I love it.

By coincidence, I am wearing my Navy Woolly Pully this morning.
