The WhiPlaWanderer showed up. Nice hat! I’ll dig behind the sweat after conditioning it. I can see the liner is sewn in.

I don't see (or don't notice) many of the thin binding ribbon Whippets, Bob. Mine is just a hair under 1/4 inch on top and bottom.

Thanks Charlie

I broke it along with twisting my knee and cracking a couple of ribs playing soccer. I guess it's time to hang up the goal keeping gloves :)
Time to move to pickleball, Steve?! Although, as my wife was told last summer when she broke her wrist during a match, it’s probably time to change your strategy. Play to play, stop playing to win…
You’re an ANIMAL on the field, apparently!!!

Here’s another Emko for sale. Was thinking mine was the only one!
Same seller listed this one today for the same starting price. I put in an offer of $101 for mine and she accepted.
She said her Dad’s size was 6 7/8 and this one is—as you can see by the size sticker.
Mine was reported to be the same size but turned out to be size 7 1/8.
It’s been successfully sized up to 7 1/4+ now.
I still have to sew back on the campaign bow.
A little odd that there were two hats just alike, same brand in two sizes. Maybe back in the 20s/30s her Dad bought one for his wife and one for himself?
