Newbie here, looking for some advice... I've an old overcoat (2 actually but lets start with one) inherited from my father, that I'm looking to sell. First is a double-breated camel overcoat, but I don't have much detail beyond what I can measure etc. 1960's or early 1970's? By Jackson the Tailor.

No label for sizing or material, assumed woollen with rayon type lining? Too big for me. As I'm a measured 43" chest, with long arms, I assume this is a either a 44" or 46" long - see measurements below and in the pictures for reference.

Length top of collar to hem = 44inches (112cm)
Chest pit to pit = 23inches (58.5cm)
Shoulders = 20.5 inches (52cm)
Sleeves = 28inches (71cm)
Repair to inner lining above the vent (see picture) otherwise in excellent condition throughout.

So my questions:
1. Anything I should be adding to the description to help a prospective buyer know the right info and details on the coat?
2. Any improvements needed (photos, measurements, description etc.)?
3. Indication on an asking price? I'm assuming around $200 asking (or equiv in £, € or CHF) + shipping ex Switzerland?

thanks in advance for any help!

Looking for a houndstooth fabric to line a Trojan repro leather jacket. Maybe a wool/silk/linen blend. Any suggestions?

Cotton/Linen blend. Cotton for durability while linen for breathability. Perfect for California weather.

I just got a second hand Schott 641. I’m very happy with it overall, but the lining seems to have stretched a little and is visible hanging (just a little) out of one of the sleeves.
I’m thinking about pulling it up a little from around the shoulder area and stitching a small fold in the lining. Good idea? Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?

I don't have a solution, but this has happened to me on two different Schott jackets, one of which was essentially brand new. Not sure why but it seems like a recurring issue.

anybody have an eastman or aero b-6 in brown? Curious about the color

also for those who have one or the other, how's the finish holding up?

Quick question about Rainbow Country x MUSHMANS collaboration. I am looking specifically at their Windward Seal Brown 50’s sport jacket. Talked someone there and said it runs slim. I had a previous RC Hercules but sold it, was too small. Are the collaborations of the same quality as plain Rainbow Country? The Windward according to the MUSHMANS blog is Shinki so have high hopes. Has anybody bought from MUSHMANS before?
Thanks for the input.

it's a collaboration in the sense that a brand might pick out a design or something, but ultimately its just made by rainbow country. should be the same quality.
