I can beat that. Not only did I commission my own variant of your now infamous design (albeit with some minor revisions), I still have it and it remains one of my favourite jackets to wear.

Not many Kadoya threads so bumping this one up.
Posted this one in the finds & deals a few days ago thinking it would be too small then had a second look at the measurements thanks to @TartuWolf posting a size chart.
Seller threw an offer and sent some more pictures with measurements so I slept on it and finally pulled the trigger.
This is the FPV-EVO/SFT, size L, 2.6Kg of 1.6mm SoFT steerhide.
After removing the detachable quilted lining and playing with the laces I'm pretty happy with the fit.
I've been looking at a padded jacket for a while (Chopper, Monza, Cascade) so this one will do... for now, I'm not fooling myself anymore.

As long as it's the MkVI with one spikey shoulder and the beaky helmet. I'm old school like that.

I saw a video of Kadoya making a leather jacket from scratch recently. It looks like it was made in Japan by a Japanese. Just a man focusing on his craft—no music, no headphones, no distractions.

It could be their new marketing.

Kadoya is such a tricky brand. They make (commission?) all kinds of stuff ranging from trash to pretty amazing. Just focusing on leather jackets you can find anything from mall / designer thin lambskin jackets to heavyweight cowhide full body armor riding gear. Some of their stuff is made in China, some in Korea, some in JP, some in Vietnam..

Really impressive, materials, craftmanship, pattern, heft. Is one of most flattering jackets I own (and I have LW, Langlitz, Vanson, Cal, etc). Maybe is one of the successful models.

Basically it stayed the same. Only wore it once and then sat in the closet ever since.

Hi, yes, I saw a couple from a Japanese influencer?, and some Korean one, showing the whole making process, done on their second floor in their shop in Japan, interesting.
