One thing to keep in mind when buying from JP is the "width" measurement doesn't always correspond to the pit to pit, sometimes they mean waist/bottom hem. That's why some numbers seem very off sometimes.

Very nice jacket. Family history always had carcoats on my radar. I'm on the fence about internal 'patch' pockets, but it does show more advanced construction.
Your picture is a blast from the past of the old Denimbro days. That fellow is Nick Hollows of Hollows Leather. (makes bomb-proof belts and accessories). I always felt Fardin was on an excellent trajectory with Whitefeather, that faltered somehow. I haven't talked to him since DB sort of imploded, and lost touch with him.

Thanks for the extra info about that photo and the guy posing for it! It was interesting to go on a small rabbit hole looking at his works, reading some of his interviews, etc.. TFL is actually the first forum that I've ever joined (and likely last), haven't heard about DenimBro.
