Yes I can see the likeness in the grain with the samples and her jacket and in that photo I posted in this thread of her standing by the plane you can see a lot of drape when the jacket is still looking very new circa early 1932.

Yes looking at photos of the russet on the VLJ as well as Platons site he has matched his original Dubow perfectly in the leather colour and every other small detail.

I only bought the jacket in March this year so no patina yet,but of all the leathers goatskin is probably the longest lasting and also very hard wearing, so even after decades it does not change a great deal in appearance compared to other leathers.

I have ordered a russet jacket a month back and will not worry about when it will be ready to ship,knowing that it is well worth the wait even if it took six months to arrive, which it probably will not,I know it`s going to be a lifetime keeper for certain being such a high quality and authentic A2.
